Flight Samples:
The flight samples were exposed to the Mir induced and natural environments. Once a week, seventy-two samples were rotated under the measurement apertures of the three instruments for characterization. The remaining twenty-six samples are characterized by pre- and post-tests only. Samples were chosen through an open sample selection process from among 228 samples submitted by 19 organizations. The flight sample selections are listed below.
