Ms. Debi G. Craig of AZ Technology awarded Contractor of the Quarter in recognition of her work within the Unified NASA Information Technology Services contract.

In April, 2009, Ms. Debi G. Craig was named Contractor of the Quarter by the Logistics Service Office of the Marshall Space Flight Center for the first quarter of 2009 for her exceptional work within the Unified NASA Information Technology Services contract. Ms. Craig is a Senior Software Programmer for AZ Technology, and this award marks the first time an AZ Technology employee has been so honored. Congratulations Debi!

A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Debi earned her B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics and Science.

Debi has been working with NASA contractors here in Huntsville for 20 years.  She has served as Systems Analyst, Programmer and various IT functions for several contractors during this time.  She is experienced in many software environments, including Property-, Disposal-, Supply- and Fleet Management, as well as Payroll and Human Resource software.

The award reads, Debi “…has provided exceptional IT support for PP&E [Property, Plant and Equipment], TEO [Transportation Equipment Operations], and NSMS [NASA Supply Management System]….  This involved the day-to-day trouble shooting, system enhancement and customer service support that has allowed our Logistics business processes to operate more efficiently.  Her support during the recent Inventory was instrumental in providing EG&G [Edgerton, Germanhauser, and Grier, Inc.] with results data to facilitate their weekly DRD requirements.  She has also served as the primary trainer for all PP&E system modules, which includes:

  • Equipment Management
  • Inventory
  • Business Warehouse (BW) Reporting
  • DSPL (Disposal)
